Role: Level Designer

  • Designing, building and implementing game play in the Airport and Radiator Springs Arena combat levels from start to finish

Working on Cars 2 built upon the love I found for game design and allowed me to take risks and push the boundaries of creativity. I enjoyed finding ways to think outside typical game play and power ups. I was also able to implement logic and physics tools to create random effects in the arenas.

Tracks afford you plenty of opportunities to earn boost, incorporate shortcuts that run the gamut from obvious to obscure, and generally do a good job of encouraging you to take risks even when you’re leading the pack. -GameSpot
